New Intensive Care Unit

We're pleased to share that the new Intensive Care Unit at Royal United Hospital is now operational, marking the culmination of this 18-month project.

While not a traditional architectural commission, this refit presented significant challenges inherent in working within a live hospital environment. The project focused on upgrading critical infrastructure to support advanced medical technology, improving the functional layout to enhance workflow for medical staff, and creating a more conducive environment for patient care and recovery.This type of project, while complex, is ultimately very rewarding.

The successful completion of this project is the result of collaborative effort from a multidisciplinary team… we were also very lucky to have excellent end-user clients from the ICU team.
